Jane Ellen Carpenter

Of Buffalo GroveJane left her loving home and went home to her loving father on May 9, 2015. She was born on August 29, 1931 in New York, NY to Hugo and Goldie (nee Greenee) Herrera.Jane truly adored spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an active volunteer for St. Joseph"s Orphanage in New York and at Addolorata Villa in Buffalo Grove. She also enjoyed bowling and needle point.Jane is survived by her spouse of 64 years, Joseph; her children, Joseph Park (Elizabeth Calvino) Carpenter, Jean Marie (Peter) Lang, John David Carpenter, James Matthew Carpenter, Julie Ann (William) Schmidt, and Joellen Diane (David) Letchinger; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and her sister, Elsie Dolan.She was preceded in death by her grandsons David Letchinger, Jr. and Dylan Letchinger; and her parents.Visitation Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., , Arlington Heights, IL. Prayers 9:15 AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home followed by mass at St. Mary Catholic Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL at 10:00 AM.
