JoAnn Dorothy Loebel

Of Arlington Heights

JoAnn D. Loebel was born on July 26, 1926, in West Bend, WI to Herbert and Ursula (nee Feller) Schowalter. She died Monday, December 6, 2021, in Arlington Heights.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Inverness. She was very active in many garden clubs throughout her life. She co-founded the South Barrington Garden Club and was a member of Field and Flower Garden Club for many years. JoAnn loved to spend time with family and friends.

JoAnn is survived by her children, Jeanne (Bill) Brantman, Mary Jo (Tom) Flood, John (Jill) Loebel, Vicki (late Joe) Mather, Beth (Chris) Ligenza and Tom (Vandana) Loebel; grandchildren, Laura (Bart) Presnell, Annie Brantman, Lisa (Randy) Flood, Katy (Matt) Yourkin, Megan Flood, John (Jenni) Loebel, Matthew Loebel, Joe (Michelle) Mather, Carrie (Jason) Latiolais, Bill (Sofia) Mather, Tom (Emily) Mather, Max and Tate Ligenza, Henry and Ronan Loebel; great-grandchildren,Tucker and Rennie Presnell, Cole Edler, Sage and Corbin Flood-Wakerlin, Aubryana and Brooklyn Yourkin, J.P., Margot and Sylvie Mather, Penelope, Cora and Gwendolyn Latiolais, Brynn and J.J. Loebel: sister, Mary (the late Milt) Rusch; Nieces and nephew, Nancy Rusch, Jane (Oscar) Robredo and Peter (Kim) Rusch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.J.; parents; and sister, Donna Roll.

A Celebration of Life for JoAnn will be held later in the Spring of 2022.
