John C. Geib Sr.

John C. Geib Sr. passed away on March 17th, at 5:03am in Park Ridge, IL. He was born on June 3rd, 1940 to John B. and Caroline Geib.

He is survived by his children John C. (Denise) Geib Jr. and David A. (Paul) Schultz, his grandchildren Jordan A. Geib and Amanda E. Geib, his step-grandchildren Brad (Ashley) Schultz, Brittany (Alex) Fermo, and Baylee Schultz, his step-great-grandson Nathan Fermo and his dog Elvis and grand-puppy Penny.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

At 5:03 am March 17th 2023, my father, John C. Geib Sr. passed away on Hospice. He fought till the bitter end. Karma was very unkind to a man with a very difficult past. But he is at rest now. I am a mix of emotions with a plethora of memories washing over me all at once. Some are good and some are not so good. But for me, the few good ones were bowling with him and my friends every Sunday, playing catch in the front yard, playing basketball at the park, and actually working with him for 3 years at a warehouse in Highland Park. He was a great boss at that time. But I think watching him win 2 Bowling Trophies in 1971 and 1972 will be what I remember most. Goodbye, Dad. Although you made it difficult sometimes, I did love you very much.
