

Kenneth Bray was born on March 16, 1940, in Aberdeen, SD, to Wilbert Bray and Viola (Purdy) Bray. He passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in Arlington Heights, IL.
His faith in the saving grace of Jesus Christ was foundational to the way he lived his life. As a young child, he accepted the Lord as His personal Savior. His favorite verses were Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." (NKJV) He was a member of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church.
Kenneth loved Bible studies, biking, sailing, traveling, and swimming. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all.
Kenneth Bray worked as a Pharmacist for the Madison General Hospital in Madison, WI, for over 10 years and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, for over 20 years.
Kenneth is survived by his spouse of 59 years, Janeva (nee Bloem) Bray; children, Steven (Ana Marie) Bray and Kathryn (Jeff) Rylander; grandchildren, Bethany (Noah) Ford, Linnea (Carlos) Trevino, Matthew Rylander, Nathaniel Bray, Eva Maria Bray and Elena Bray; siblings-in-law, Lester (Nancy) Bloem, Kaye (Ken) Dohn and Lilly Bray; nieces and nephew, Karla (Brian) McCallister, Kristin (Ryan) Boyd, Lara (Joe) Neufeld and Darren (Jessica) Bray.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Bray.
Visitation is Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am and the Funeral Service is at 11:00 am at The Orchard Evangelical Free Church (1330 North Douglas Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004). Interment will be held at 2:15 pm at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
