Klaus A. Benner

Of West Dundee

Klaus A. Benner was born March 24, 1932 in Wiesbaden, Germany to Adolf and Freida (nee Feyerabend) Benner. He passed peacefully at home on July 30 with his family around him.

Klaus was born in Germany and immigrated to America with his wife Mathilde (nee Ploetz) Benner in the summer of 1957. They settled first in Skokie, IL and as his family grew, they moved to Morton Grove, Arlington Heights and eventually West Dundee, IL. He worked as a typewriter and office equipment repairman for 35 years first for Wiebolts Department Stores and later retiring from Trio Office Machines.

He is survived by his wife Mathilde ; his children Peter Benner, Richard (Marlena) Benner and Karin (William) Gray; his grandchildren Nicole, Christine and Andrew and by his great granddaughter Jessa.

Klaus is preceded in death by his granddaughter Christine and by his parents.

Visitation Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery.
