I worked closely with Kyra in HR at State Farm in 2008/2009 when we developed new training for HR Academy. She had such a great sense of humor and I will miss her contagious laugh. Heaven gained an angel. Blessings to the Hansen and Skowronski families. Kyra was loved by many and a gift to this world.

I am so sorry for you Mitch and Samantha. I loved Kyra and looked forward to our get togethers in Chicago the last few years! When we worked together, before she moved to Chicago, we were the the SUPER Survivor fans, running a contest with coworkers that all enjoyed and having Survivor Finale parties. After she moved to Chicago and met the love of her life, Mitch, Al and I have great memories of our get togethers at restaurants, concerts, and the "spills" that seemed to haunt us - Mitch's quilt, Kyra's head, my back... I will never forget Kyra's smile, laugh, and the way she made everyone feel...She is a light that will be sorely missed. My heart aches for Mitch and Samantha and their loss of such a bright light in their lives.

Dear, bubbly, exuberant Kyra .. impossible to fathom this ♥breaking loss. May God be with Mitch and her darling jewel, Samantha, until they meet again. Prayers.

Kyra and I worked together when she joined the HR department in Florida. Kyra was vibrant, inquisitive and flat out FUN!! We shared many a bottle of wine in Winter Haven & what happened during our recruiting trips stayed on our trips!! We reconnected during her most recent assignment prior to her leaving SF in October - so lucky to have called her a friend. My heart goes out to her family.

When I think of Kyra, I immediately smile. She had such an infectious laugh and positive outlook on life. I have such fond memories of working with Kyra over the years at State Farm. It didn’t matter how much time had passed between visits – each time was as if you had just talked yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with all who love and miss her. She was truly a blessing to so many people.
