Laura Molina was born on July 25, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois to Ceferino Molina and Aida (nee Ruiz) Jimenez. She passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Illinois.

Ms. Molina, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, was a social worker and supervisor for Catholic Charities in Chicago for the last 15 years. After graduating from the University of Chicago, she received a master’s degree in social work from Dominican University.

Laura is survived by her mother, Aida Iris Jimenez; her sons, Kerry M. Walker, Christopher L. (Cleo Hough) Walker, and Cameron J. Richardson; her grandchildren, Skylar L. Walker, and Genevieve Ramirez; and her sisters, Christine Solis, and Mariana (Angel) Nieves; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; and her sister, Diana Buchmann.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois where funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
