She passed away September 3, 2015 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.Laverne inspired others spiritually and emotionally towards achieving their fullest life goals and accomplishments.Laverne is survived by her sons Keith Mason and John (Michele) Mason; her grandchildren Abby Mason and Tyler Mason; her siblings Ralph (Barbara) Stephens and Doris (late Roy) Flint.Laverne is preceded in death by her husband Albert Mason.Visitation Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.
