Lorraine H. Hansen

Lorraine was a loving daughter to Edward and Dorothy Veh, and a loving wife to Merrill Hansen for 68 years, when she passed away.

She was a loving mother to Cheryl Hansen Buller (married to Larry Buller) and Richard Hansen (married to Laura Hansen); a loving Grandmother to Richard Buller, Valerie Buller, Bobby Buller, Steven Buller and Charles Hansen and Jimmy Hansen; a loving mother-in-law to their mother Susan Hansen Hanford; a loving Great-Grandmother to David Seering, Cassandra Buller, Julian Buller, Gigi Buller, Kora Buller, Adeline Buller and Clementine Hansen, Edward Hansen, and Arthur Hansen; a loving sister to Joan Anderson and Aunt to her children Barbara and Donna Anderson; and a loving cousin/sister to Lois Eales.

Lorraine studied Ballet, tap and piano for several years as a child and she had perfect attendance all through school and was valedictorian which awarded her a business scholarship. She loved her secretarial job with Hancock and received several commendations. During her career she worked at several places as an office manager and accountant until her retirement. She loved going on family vacations, especially with historic value first with children and then later with grandchildren where they also enjoyed amusement parks and zoos. She also loved travelling all over the world with her husband and various friends after retirement and brightening everyone's day wherever she was. Lorraine enjoyed wintering in their 2nd home in Florida for 20 years which had the tropical flavor that she loved so much from her vacations in Hawaii.

She held several positions at 22nd church of Christ Scientist and was a Chicago Election Poll Worker.

Private services will be held.
