Marcin Thomas Bukowski

Marcin Thomas Bukowski was born November 7, 1981 in Chicago to Anna A. (nee Weclaw) and Peter Bukowski. He died August 30, 2022 in Long Grove.

Marcin was an amazing son and brother who had a heart of gold. He was kindhearted, funny, and full of life. He had an incredible smile that was contagious. He was always willing to help out his family and friends. His passion was golf and he was always excited to spend time with his golf league. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, riding his motorcycle, snowboarding, working on cars, tinkering around the house, watching sports and much more. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a huge part of his mother’s life and spent a lot of time with her. Marcin attended school as a child at St Ladislaus in Chicago, IL. After the move to the northwest suburbs, he attended school at Robert Frost Elementary in Mount Prospect, IL and Wheeling High School in Wheeling, IL. After graduation, he studied at UTI for several years. In recent years, Marcin worked at Forum Mortgage Bancorp as a Loan Originator. He enjoyed his job tremendously and loved working with people. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Marcin is survived by his sister Katherine “Kathy” Bukowski and by his mother.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery.
