Marian K. Ratajczak

Marian K. Ratajczak, 87, was born February 22, 1937 in Poland to Stanislaw and Josefa (nee Kruger) Lukasz. He died Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Ratajczak, traversed the globe during his career as a field engineer in the canning machinery industry with HL Fischer Manufacturing.

Marian is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda Ratajczak; his daughters Jeanette Ratajczak and Dianne (Donald) Young; his step-daughter Charlotte (Tom Miloszewski) Wager; his grandsons David (J. Nichole) Young and; his step-granddaughter Rhoen Miloszewski; his great grandchildren Christian Young, Daemon Castillo, Timothy Young, and Stevie Young; his sisters Irene Ostrowski and Stella (Pat) Belott ; and his nieces and nephews, Richard Jiezerski, Sandra Sierra, Robert (Kymm) Kruger, Andre Gutierrez, Ronald (Mary) Ostrowski, Barbara (Al) Parfitt, Tamara (Paul) Klinger, Louis (Deepa) Belott, and Anne Belott.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, William (Vanessa) Young; and his sister Jane Kruger, William Young.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL for Army Honors and committal service at 2:30 pm.
