

Marilyn B. Meyer – 82, of Arlington Heights, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in the company of her family. She was born on October 23, 1930, in Chicago IL, the only child of Eugene and Vera Chessman Fraher. She spent her childhood in Berwyn and Itasca, and attended Carroll College in Wisconsin. Married in 1953, she and her late husband, Donald I. Meyer settled in Arlington Heights in 1957. After many years as a homemaker, she returned to her career as an Executive Assistant, retiring from Moore Business Forms in 1994. An enthusiastic traveler with a soft spot for London, she spent her later years discovering new places and exploring new hobbies with her late friend, William Means. Her table was always surrounded by loved ones gathered to celebrate any and all occasions. She is remembered for her kindness, her charming wit and above all, selfless generosity. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Kimberley M. Warner (Michael) and their children John, Claire and Nathan; and her daughter, Claudia A. Alberico (Mario) and their children Jillian (Rebecca), Jane (Ryan), and Anthony. The family will receive friends at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights; 302 North Dunton Avenue on Sunday, May 26, 2013. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 pm immediately followed by services. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) would be appreciated.
