Marvin J. MillerMarvin J. Miller was born on August 2, 1937 in Chicago to Edward and Margaret (nee Lackowski) Miller. He died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.Marvin worked as a Marketing Manager for IBM in Chicago. He was a member of St Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights where he served as a long-time usher. Marvin was an avid fisherman and loved his family trips to Canada. He was a "Jokester" and loved to share his wit and stories with everyone. Marvin loved to spend time with his family, especially his "grand-dogs" and was loved by all.Marvin is survived by his children, Gregory (Cynthia) Miller, Paul Miller and Susan Miller; grandchildren, Alison Miller and Michael Miller; siblings, Carol (Steve) Rodabaugh and Glen (Joyce) Miller; sister-in-law, Barbara( the late Gerard) Brunner and brother-in-law, Walter (Amy) Peldiak; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by spouse of 47 years Dorothy M.(nee Peldiak); and his parents.Visitation Monday, February 1, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004 and also visitation Tuesday from 9:00 am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 until the 10:00 Funeral Mass.
