Mary Ellen (Cuddy) Spiekerman, 89, of Arlington Heights for several years. Born in Chicago, March 19, 1929, who passed away January 7, 2019 at home.

Loving, Devoted and Beloved Wife of Raymond Spiekerman for nearly 65 years.

Loving and Beloved Mother of nine children: Mary Anne (Spiekerman) Mueller, Thomas (Sandee) Spiekeman, John Spiekerman, Kathleen (Spiekerman) Maggiore, Francis (Susan) Spiekerman, Margaret Spiekerman, Madonna (Spiekerman) (Jim) Frankel, Elizabeth Spiekerman, and Raymond J (Merrie) Spiekerman.

Loving and Beloved Grandmother of 23 Grandchildren: Kimberly Mueller Eckert (Joe), Katie Mueller Stolman (CJ), Matthew Mueller, Rev. James A Mueller, Lynne Spiekerman, Tommy Spiekerman, Timmy Spiekerman, Johnny Spiekerman, Katie Spiekerman, Danny Spiekerman, Kristin Maggiore, Nicholas Maggiorie, Brandon Maggiore, Sarah Spiekerman, Michael Spiekerman, Nicole Zuhlke Pedersen (Chad), Tiffany Zuhlke Furlet (Matt), Joseph Zuhlke (Bernice), Michael Zuhlke (Amy), David Zuhlke, Amy Frankel, Bobby Frankel and Kelly Frankel.

Preceded in death are her Parents: Howard A Cuddy and Mary Cecelia Cuddy, Chicago Illinois.

Loving and Beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to several nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful Catholic and loved and prayed her Holy Rosary for all of us daily.

She was a loving and devouted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and loved and cherished her family and family get togethers the most. She volunteered most of her life most recently between the Northwest Community Hospital and Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church. She loved being 100% Irish and celebrated and protected Life and enjoyed her life with her family always. She cooked and baked for us and would knit and cross-stitch many heirloom items for us over the years. She was always open to conversation with any one of us at a moment's notice. We will truly miss that about her. Even more, we will miss her great Irish SMILE and her "I love you" - Call me when you get home.

She will be missed greatly. We will always treasure the time we had with her. She was cared for lovingly by her husband, Raymond and her Children and Grandchildren. She is safe with Our Lord, out of any pain or suffering and will watch over every one of us until we meet again in Heaven.

Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:OO AM at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Christian Burial will be graveside at St. Michael Cemetery in Palatine, IL.
