Mary Kathryn Narut

Of Buffalo Grove

Mary Kathryn Narut was born on September 19, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois to Valentine and Sarah (nee Coffey) Ferrier. She died Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Mrs. Narut was an administrative assistant employed with Blackstone Manufacturing, NCR, and Private Health over her career. She was a member of St. Tarcissus Altar and Rosary Society, an active caregiver, and an avid reader of medical research.

"The cottage" in Fox River Grove and the lake house in Twin Lakes, Wisc. were favorite places to spend weekends with family and friends.

Mary is the loving mother to William (Margaret) Baronti, Nancy (Greg) Ciecko, and Gina (Patrick) Byrne; grandmother to Marissa (Ryan) Clark, Kathryn (Matthew) Kocanda, Brigette (Bradley) DeSimone, William (Caitlin) Baronti and Nicholas Baronti, Kristen (Derek ) Eckman, Karrie (Jeffrey) Wright, Rebecca, Bridget, Michael and Elizabeth Byrne; her great-grandchildren Abigail, Braden and Avary Eckman, Isabelle, Anderson and Keira Wright, Eleanor, Mae, Clinton and Walter Clark, Evelyn and Henry Kocanda, and Charles DeSimone.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Aldo Baronti, her second husband, Dr. Leo F. Narut; her grandson Brian Patrick Byrne; her parents; and her brothers Robert and William Ferrier

Memorial Mass 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 7201 N. Oketo, Chicago, IL 60631. Interment following at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 150 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601, in memory of Brian Patrick Byrne or Mass Intentions at St. Juliana Catholic Church.
