

Michael was born in Milton, Florida on July 7, 1968, to parents Mitchell and Marilyn (nee Mercier) Rein. Shortly after being born, his family moved back to Illinois where he became a big brother to two younger sisters, Debbie and Donna. Michael was the proud father of two sons, Oliver and Jack. He loved sports and enjoyed coaching his sons and cheering on the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Michael was a wonderful cook and he enjoyed feeding his loved ones. He was a very committed and passionate man, who was very invested in his children and family. Michael loved music and he greatly valued education and working hard. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his sons, Oliver Rein, and Jack Rein, his mother Marilyn Rein, his sisters, Debbie Rein, and Donna (Mike) Rozzano III, his niece Dia Rozzano, and his nephews, Michael Rozzano IV, and Devin Rozzano.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Rein.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
Funeral will be Monday, November 11, 2024, at 10 a.m. with a visitation the hour prior, all at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
Burial to follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
