Michael K. Troiani

Of Tucson, Arizona and formerly of Chicago, Illinois

Michael K. Troiani was born on November 22, 1987 in Wheeling, Illinois and passed away on December 20, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona.

Michael graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2011. Meticulously detailed and organized, Michael was a perfect fit for his role as a Data Manager at Sg2.

Endlessly curious, Michael traveled all over the world throughout his 35 years. Whether he traveled solo or beside a loved one, he deeply appreciated experiencing other cultures. Michael had a true appreciation for nature and never stopped exploring the world around him. Feeling a connection to the desert climate and lifestyle, he made the switch from Chicago to Tucson, Arizona in 2020. He hiked throughout the Tucson area frequently and would occasionally take a spin on his motorcycle through the Catalina Foothills.

Michael was especially close with his two siblings, Shelby and Jordan with whom he shared a very special bond. Michael and his father valued spending many treasured weekends together. He cherished his two dogs Ruby and Donna. Spending time outdoors with his dogs brought Michael happiness and peace. While he was a private person, Michael showed those in his life endless love and support; he would do anything for his family.

He is survived by his father Peter Troiani, his brother Jordan Troiani, and his sister Shelby Troiani and her partner Daniel Wernig.

He is preceded in death by his mother Robin Troiani and his beloved dog, Ruby.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25th 2023 from 11am to 3pm at Glueckert Funeral Home,1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
