Patrick Kenneth Murray, Sr. was born on September 6, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois to Parnell and Sally (nee Litviak) Murray. He died Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Murray was a fireman for over 39 years. He spent the last 34 years with the Village of Schaumburg and retired as Deputy Chief.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sheryl Ann nee Schuett; his sons, Patrick Kenneth (Lana) Murray, Jr., Brian R. (Kristin) Murray, and Tim Murray; his grandchildren, Brittany, Patrick III Murray, Masey Eastman, Jack, and Scott Murray; his siblings Carol (Richard) Schultz, Jack Murray, Maureen (Michael) Pope, and Parnell (Barbara) Murray, Jr.; and his stepdaughter, Mary (Larry) Rohr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Murray.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Committal service following at 11:30 am, at All Saints Cemetery chapel, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL.
