Philip J. Barry, 83, of Buffalo Grove was born on January 16, 1942 to the late Philip and Dorothy (nee Woodroffe) Barry in Chicago and passed away on January 27, 2025. Philip was the beloved husband to Cynthia L. Barry nee Palm for 57 years; loving father to Shannon (Michael) Desmond, Shawn Barry, Meredith (Andrew) Foscato, and Kendra Barry; fond grandpa to Tyler Flood, Colin Flood, Carter Flood, Hadley Barry, Peyton Foscato, Tegan Foscato, Mackenzie Barry, Brady Desmond, and Avery Desmond; dear brother to Sharon Orchell; and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly, especially by his loving dogs Foxy and Molly.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The funeral service will follow on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Glueckert Funeral Home starting at 11:00 am, friends and family are welcome to arrive starting at 10:00 am.
