Raul Perez Jr.

Raul Perez was born April 24, 1960 in Uvalde, TX to Raul Sr. and Tila (nee Frauzto) Perez. He died February 26, 2021 at Landmark of Des Plaines.

Raul was a member of the Painters District Council Number 30, Local 97. He hung wallpaper and painted for over 30 years. Raul enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He even enjoyed playing golf. His greatest joys were spending with his family, especially watching Animal Planet, the History Channel and Food Network Channel with his granddaughters.

Raul is survived by his father Raul Perez Sr., his children Tina Perez and David (Jessica) Perez; his granddaughters Elicia and Janessa Perez; his wife Rose Cobarrubias; his siblings Blanca Perez, Jo (Rick) Reese, Robert Perez and Sonia Perez; his sister and brother in-laws Liz (Alan) Steffen, Diane (Bob) Martinez, Santos Jr. Cobarrubias, Anna (Brett) Curlin, David Cobarrubias, Linda (Nenos) Odisho, Cathy (Brent) Cason, Bobby (Melinda) Cobarrubias and Michael (Rita) Cobarrubias and by many nieces and nephews.

Raul is preceded in death by his mother Tila Perez; his mother in law Elizabeth Cobarrubias; his father in law Santos Cobarrubias..and by his sister in law Eydie Cobarrubias.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 3 PM until the time of funeral service at 7 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment private. Capacity limits, PPE requirement, and social distancing in effect. Due to current capacity guidelines, please be prepared to wait.
