

Robert C. Glueckert, of Grayslake, formerly of Mt. Prospect, was born on February 12, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph B. and Florance (nee Schuchter) Glueckert. He died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at his home.Mr. Glueckert served in the Navy during WW II aboard the USS Antietam. He was owner of Foam Forms, Inc. from 1963 until retiring in 1985 and was formerly VP Engineering for Bell Howell. He was an avid square dancer and former caller. After retiring, he took great pride restoring the former Columbia Bay Yacht Club into his residence on Fox Lake at which he hosted numerous family celebrations.Robert is survived by his children, Robert S. (Timothy Gaither) Glueckert and Mark J. (Carolyn) Glueckert; his grandchildren, Jonathon R., Nicole M., Katherine A. and Elizabeth V. Glueckert; his sister Lucille (Lloyd) Johnston; and special friend of the family Priscilla Otis Callans.He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail (nee Williams) Glueckert; his daughter, Barbara G. Glueckert; and his siblings, Laverne (Norbert) Melsek, Joseph Glueckert, Jeanette (Wayne) Wulff and Marie (Wally) Labac.Visitation from 3:00 pm until time of Funeral Service, 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
