Of Arlington Heights
Ruth Sperling was born October 12, 1926 in Chicago to Axle and Anna Lund. She died August 15, 2021 at her home in Arlington Heights.
Ruth was 60 year resident of Arlington Heights, where she raised her two sons, as a single parent, after her husbands passing in 1961. She was an original employee of Harper College, prior to the colleges opening and a long term employ of Arlington Federal.
Ruth is survived by her sons Scott and Gary Sperling; numerous nieces and nephews on both the Sperling and Lund sides.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Sperling; her brother Lee (late Joan) Lund.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 23, 2021 at All Saints Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 700 N. River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
