Scott M. Mueller was born on June 13, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Fred and Colleen (nee Corbett) Mueller. He died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Scott’s business was US Core Auto Parts.

His interest and hobbies included being the best husband, dad, and papa EVER. He took over most of the cooking post-retirement. He was a great griller. He loved dogs so much, he called them pookies. He loved his tattoos and was always looking for another to mark his life’s journey. His favorite was a huge lion sitting upon a rock with his 10 grandkid’s names beneath. The lion was protecting his grandkids. The tattoo was created in 5 sessions over 8 years.

Scott is survived by his childhood sweetheart/wife of 49 years, Gail Mueller (nee Leavitt); his daughter Kim (Scott) Page, his grandkids John, Jessie, and Nick; his daughter Gina Mueller, his grandkids Dylan, Caden, and Logan; his daughter Dawn (Andrew) Forman, his grandkids, Nouvelle, Gianna, Drake, and Noemi; his sister Maureen Thinnes. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Marty Mueller. Memorial Visitation Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. James Catholic Church, 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 (capacity limits, PPE requirements with masks being required and social distancing in effect). The family invites all to a luncheon at 12pm at Dawn and Andrew Forman’s home (PPE requirements with masks being required and social distancing in effect, outdoor area is available).
