Stan was born in LaPorte, Indiana on January 6, 1936, to parents Stanley and Margaret (nee Tuholski) Chmielowiec. He met Betty (Bogdan) while still living in Indiana and the couple were married on May 7, 1960. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty, and the pair were happily married for 51 years until her death on July 25, 2011.
Stan is survived by his children, Eric, and Jennifer (Greenberg), his granddaughters, Alyssa and Kyra, his siblings, Steve, Theresa, David, Carol, and his and Betty’s many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2025, from 10 a.m. to time of Memorial Mass 11 a.m. all at St. Edna’s Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
