Thomas Joseph Clark was born on June 19, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to Michael and Eileen (nee O'Brien) Clark. He died Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Tom spent his working career in banking at Continental Bank, First Chicago Bank, Bank One, Chicago Asset Management, First National Bank, and Royal American Bank.

He attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and then St. Bede's Academy before graduating from Loyola University with undergrad and graduate degrees. Tom served in the Illinois National Guard. He was a long-time member of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council #4483. Tom was also a member of the Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club. He was an avid sailor and could often be found on his boat enjoying Lake Michigan and the Chicago shoreline. Tom loved spending time and sharing stories with friends and family. He was known for his personality that would engage and entertain an entire room.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sandra (nee Hoover); his daughters, Maureen (David) Resac, Megan (George) Leone, and Kathleen (William) Ferguson; and his grandchildren, Sophia and Benjamin Leone, Caitlin and Brayden Resac.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Mary Eileen Kennedy, Kathleen Vida, and Sheila Lang.

Visitation from 3 pm until 8 pm, Thursday, March 31st, at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arl. Hts., IL. Prayers 9:15 am, April 1st at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arl. Hts. Rd., Arl. Hts., IL for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery.
