Thomas Joel Loeb

Thomas Joel Loeb, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on September 24, 2023, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois at the age of 78. Born on May 9, 1945, in Shaker Heights, Ohio, Tom was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many.

Tom served in the Army during the 1960's in Alaska. He was known for his exceptional lifelong pursuit of knowledge, he was a voracious reader. He displayed unwavering dedication in his career in computer sales and marketing. He was involved in computers from their infancy, working in California's Silicon Valley and was employed by Sun Miscrosystems, Altos, and Samsung among others over the course of his career. After many years of serving in this capacity, he gracefully transitioned into retirement, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and achievement.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joan (nee Lonze) Loeb; their son Kevin (Jolie Marshall Loeb); his cherished granddaughter, Isabel Loeb; and his brother Timothy Loeb.

He is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Joan, and his brother, Jon.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of his funeral service at Noon, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004
