Todd A. Zastrow was born on July 23, 1981 in Melrose Park, Illinois to Robert and Patricia (nee Weinrauch) Zastrow. He died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his home in Des Plaines.

Todd worked as a parts supplier for ABT for 6 years. He and his family were proud of his work ethic and perfect attendance. He loved working in the electronics industry, a life long passion. He also loved his family, friends, and car. Todd spoiled his nephew and second cousins with toys and treats, and never stopped being a kid at heart. He was passionate about his Hondas, and loved to modify his car for volume and speed. He loved dogs, and rarely met a dog that wasn’t his instant friend. He was always ready to help a stranger who asked, and at his best was a kind, compassionate soul.

Todd is survived by his parents; his brother Scott (Rachel) Zastrow; his nephew Caleb Zastrow; his aunts, Kathy (Tom) Vangese, Mary Ellen Kovacic, Beth (Mike) Krzanowski; and his uncles, Peter (Rozanne) Weinrauch and Paul Weinrauch.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines from 9:00 am until the time of mass at 10:00 am. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital c/o the Alexian Brothers Foundation at 2601 Navistar Drive, Building Four, 1st Floor, Lisle, IL 60532.
