Veda PangerOf Arlington HeightsVeda Panger, born February 22, 1931 in Chicago to Jon and Gioconda (nee Berrardo) Solari, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016.Veda"s long and varied career began in 1970 doing Market Research for the American Dairy Association, then the United Dairy Industry Association." She then became an administrator with Mayer, Brown Platt, Welsh Katz, Kraft Corporation, and the Merry Walker Corporation, ending her career as an Executive Assistant with Dobb"s International (now Gate Gourmet)." Upon retiring, she volunteered her time at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, eventually accepting a part time position for several years.Veda, always an avid reader, loved the written word and her book club gatherings.Veda is survived by her daughters, Brooke (Walter Tatera) Keeton, Robin (Kendall Brown) Keeton and Lizabeth (Gene) McBane; grandchildren, Caitlin (Beau Ross) Merkel, Danielle Keeton-Olson and Allyssa Keeton-Olson; great-grandchildren, Oakley Ross and Trip Ross." Veda had decades long friendships that she cherished.She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Richard Keeton, her parents and her brother Darrow Solari.Visitation" Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 12:00 pm until the 1:00 pm Memorial Service at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
