William R. Basgall

Of Arlington Heights

William R. Basgall was born September 5, 1958 in Chicago to Theodore J. and Hildegard M. (nee Junius) Basgall. He died February 25, 2022 at Avantara of Long Grove.

He worked for Resurrection Hospital in Chicago for many years before working for Little City in Palatine as an assembler. Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years and an active member of St. Ednas Parish. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Chicago White Sox fan. He enjoyed coloring in his free time. He was happiest when he was with his family and the family dogs Bridget and Olive.

William is survived by his brother Daniel L. (Margaret) Basgall; his nephews Joseph (Amanda) and Richard (Kristina) Basgall and niece Natalie Basgall.

Bill is preceded in death by his brother James R. (Louise) Basgall and by his parents.

Visitation 9:00 AM, Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights until time of the Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
