Beloved father of Kimberly Anne (Jason) Metler; cherished grandfather of Cameron, Madelyn and Avery Metler; loving brother to Jim Krause.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Richard Theodore Krause and Hilda Helena Krause nee Karlsen.
William was a Facilities Manager of Illinois Tool Works for 43 years before he retired. He was then a member of the ITW Retiree Out Reach Group.
William was also a member of the Orchard Community Church in Arlington Heights, IL.
A memorial service will be planned in the future.
