Hello to the family of a great Man, Bill Geary.   He was kind and mentored me in my professional growth.  When ever I asked for help he was there for me.  I’ll never forget him.  The world was a better place because he was in it. May memories of him comfort you.  Sincerely, Roslyn Chapman

To the Geary family,  Bill was a dynamic man that impacted many lives. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to know and work with Bill.   Bill will be remembered for the contributions he made that continue to impact the multi culture consumer and their relationship with Walgreens today.  My condolences and prayers for you at this time of loss.

I was so saddened to hear the news!  My career at Walgreens began on Bills team - he was an amazing mentor and person! Of my 17 years at Walgreens - the years working on Bill's team were my favorites!  Work was actually fun! One of my favorite memories was when we were looking to hire a summer intern we would joke around that we would prefer to hire a Iowa Hawkeye.  I feel so fortunate to have known Bill! I'm so sad to hear of Bill's passing.  He was such a great man who I had the privilege of working for at Walgreens.  He was always ready to share a smile and tell you how happy he was to have you as part of his team.  I'll forever remember Mr. Geary as someone special from the Walgreens family. Bill Geary, was a very kind, compassionate and  an excellent merchant/businessman..Bill earned the very high respect from the Walgreens vendors...he was an American treasurer..and will be missed...Jack McAuliffe, Walgreens vendor...............

Dear Karen, Shawn, Terry, Bridget, Kevin, Maureen, Eric, Megan, and Family,  As the Director of Alumni Relations Emeritus, I offer you the sympathy and prayers of the Saint Viator/Sacred Heart of Mary High School community as you mourn the death of your husband, father, and grandfather.  When I read the comment in the obituary that “many people would wish to celebrate Bill’s life,” a reading from the book of Sirach came to mind.  Let us praise an illustrious man, 	faithful to his family and friends, strong in his love. At peace in his heart and his world, 	he has left us his good name, and we recount his life of praiseworthy deeds. A generous man his good works will never be forgotten. Among his family and friends there remains a rich inheritance born of him. His inheritance will last forever. His glory will not fade. His name lives on from generation to generation. We gather to sing his praises. We will proclaim his wisdom and love of life all our days.  Our hearts go out to you as you move through your journey of grief unable to be comforted by the physical gathering of family and friends during these difficult and uncertain times. We pray for you as you share the stories, laugh and cry, and find ways to celebrate Bill and the love you shared.  May memories of your husband/father/grandfather and the love you shared comfort you!
