of Arlington Heights, Illinois
William George Ruppert, 23, was born on October 14, 2000, in Arlington Heights, IL to George and Sandra (nee Coffman) Ruppert. He died Friday, March 15, 2024.
William cherished son, devoted brother and friend, leaves behind a legacy of warmth, intellect, and boundless curiosity that touched the lives of all who knew him.
William was a devoted student of learning with a passion for math & science with a love of physics. He was a voracious reader exploring the depths of poetry and philosophy, finding solace and enlightenment in the timeless wisdom of great thinkers and poets. Always eager to share his knowledge or engage in spirited discussions on topics ranging from the profound to the mundane.
Above all else, William’s keen intellect and insatiable curiosity were evident in every conversation, as he approached each debate with an open mind (sometimes) and a genuine desire to learn and grow.
His dedication to scouting, as evidenced by his achievement earning the rank of Eagle Scout and as an Order of the Arrow Vigil Recipient. These high honors in Boy Scouts, reflected his commitment to service and leadership in the community.
Known for his infectious laugh and witty sense of humor, William had a gentle soul and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved baking, especially flan for his grandmother. In his free time, he would play video games with friends; something he and his brothers shared an interest in.
Although William's time with us was tragically brief, his impact will endure. His kind and caring nature endeared him to everyone he met, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory continue to inspire and uplift us all, as we strive to honor his legacy through acts of kindness and service.
William is survived by his parents Sandra and George; his brothers Thomas and Daniel (Kaitlyn) Ruppert; his grandmother, Carol Coffman; and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded by his grandparents, George and Betty (Gallagher) Ruppert and William Coffman; and his Uncle, Roger Coffman.
