Candace Lyn Ross

Candy was born on June 5, 1949 to Richard and Dorothy Shirley in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She graduated high school in 1967 and Oklahoma Baptist University in 1971. Upon graduating from college she moved to Dallas, Texas and worked at Great Southwest Insurance Company as a secretary.

She got her Masters in Accounting at the University of Texas at Arlington which began a 43 year residence in Arlington, Texas. Upon graduation she went to work for Arthur Young Accounting Firm as an internal auditor. Two years later she joined Dresser Industries in the Consolidated Accounting Department and retired 23 years later.

Candy married Greg Ross on August 27, 1977 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Five years later they welcomed their first born on July 19th, Angela Lyn Ross. Three years after that they welcomed their second on May 7th, Erin Lindsay Ross.

In 1996 Greg and Candy joined Mannatech Incorporated and up until the day she passed Candy had a passion for helping people live healthier lives. Both daughters married in 2008, Erin to Zachary Taylor and Angela to Josh Miller. Her first grandchild, Clara, was born in 2010 and her second, Boone, in 2013.

Candy went to be with her Savior on Saturday, December 19th. She is survived by her husband, Greg, her daughters, Angela and Erin, her son- in-laws, Zach and Josh, and her grandchildren, Clara and Boone. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly.
