Caroline Victor

Caroline Nelson Victor of Arlington, Texas passed away Dec. 30,2020 surrounded by love from family across the nation. Caroline won over hearts by radiating joy, happiness and kindness. Her laugh and charm filled the room, and she always made people feel loved and welcome.

Caroline was born on Oct. 10, 1934 in South Bend, Indiana to parents Steve Molnar and Mary Nagy. In 1953, she married James Nelson and they became parents to three wonderful children: Susan Kay (1954), Nancy June (1956) and James Daniel (1961). The family grew and expanded over the years, which made her a proud matriarch.

After the untimely death of her husband and children's father, Caroline moved to Kansas City, Kansas to start over. One day at Captain D's she met Jack Victor and they fell madly in love. The kindred spirits married in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1982 and lived in Arlington, Texas for over 30 years close to family in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Caroline lovingly grew her family with Jack's children: Laurie Woydziak, Tamara Dickerson, Kyara Mascolo, David Sherman and Michael Sherman. Her heart swelled further with beloved spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved Grandma and Papa Jack. We lost Papa Jack on Aug. 14, 2014, and today they are dancing together in Heaven looking down on the family with love.

Family meant everything to Caroline. From across Texas and Indiana to Georgia, Virginia and California, she made sure family received regular calls, texts or cards to celebrate an occasion or offer well wishes. Caroline was the glue to a large network of loved family members.

She is survived by her children, Susan Kay Robinson and husband Richard, Nancy Rice-Ponzetti and husband Mike, and James Nelson and wife Diane. She is also survived by many grandchildren: Summer Carr and husband Cory with great granddaughter Evie, April Reiling and husband Michael, Kyle Rouch and wife Kristin, John Robinson and great grandchildren Jacob and Emma, Julie Wallesch and husband Brad, James Henes and wife Jennifer, Kay Hubert and husband Zephan, and Laura Rice. She is survived by brother Louis Molonar and wife Renee, and sister Mary Ann Molnar.

Caroline is preceded in death by her husbands James Nelson and Jack Victor, son Daniel James Nelson, grandson Ray Mascolo and brother Steve Mate.
