I had the privilege of having Davey as my 8th grade science teacher st Ferguson, having him as a drivers ed teacher and then working with him as my assistant principal and principal on and off for years. He was always kind, caring and nothing seemed to ruffle his feathers.  He was a great role model for me as a student and as a teacher. And...he taught me a life skill of merging traffic at 80mph on Texas highways!!

I worked with Davey at Ferguson and he was such a kind and supportive man that he set an example to all, faculty and students alike.  I was so sorry to hear of his passing.

The services were perfect this morning - very Davey. He was my interim assistant principal in 2010-2011. He was an amazing man and an ideal educator...truly one of a kind. My prayers are with his loved ones. See you up there one day, Mr. Jones!

One of the finest men and bosses I have ever known.  Love him, Blessings to the entire family.  Let the family reunion begin in heaven!!!

Davey was such a shining example of faithfulness during Margaret's devastating illness and death, as well as Bobby's.  What a legacy of love and constancy he has left behind.  Our hearts are with you; we didn't know in time to attend his services.  Much love from the Mitchells, Robert and Jane.

Davey was a great guy, educator and friend.  We will all miss him very much.  May God bless you.

We are so very sorry for your loss.  Davey was truly one of the very, very truly good guys.  He will be missed.

My heart goes out to the entire Davey Jones family.  He was loved by so many both within his church family and in the community as well.  His devotion to children here and in Mexico is a legacy that will live on forever.  I am thankful that you are no longer suffering and now are receiving your reward but you will be missed my brother!
