Everett Wayne Green

Everett Wayne Green, 91, of Arlington, Texas, born the only child of Everett P and Elizabeth (Harder) Green in Allen, Kansas, April 24th, 1921, went to meet his Savior on Sunday, August 12th, 2012. In 1943 Wayne graduated with a degree in Accounting from the University of Texas. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy as a patrol pilot in Astoria, OR. Wayne retired from a 39 year career as an accountant for Union Oil Co. in Houston, Texas, and was a Master Mason, Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Wimberley, Texas, and lifetime member of lodges in Wimberley and Arlington, TX.

Wayne married Erna Potter Green in 1944 in Astoria, OR, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 26th 1976. From this marriage, Wayne is survived by daughter Joan “Judy” Elizabeth Green of Santa Clara, CA, and granddaughter, Michelle Anne Howe; son, Ronald Wayne and Sarah Green of Dayton, TX and granddaughter Bernadette Marie Green; son, Michael “Mike” John and Margaret Green of Houston, TX, and granddaughters Adelaide Fay and Shauna Michelle Green; and son, Anthony “Tony” Paul and Ana Green of Houston, TX.

At the time of his death Wayne had been married to Dorothy Ray Green for 28 years. He is survived by Dorothy and step-daughter, Donna and William “Bud” Smith of Arlington, TX and grandson Collin and Kelly McDonald, and great-granddaughters Madison and Abigail, and stepson Robert Stone of Arlington, TX, and granddaughters Jessica and Charlotte Ann, and grandson Scott Robert; and stepson Harold and Barbara Stone of Davenport, NE and grandson Cameron and Megan Boltes and great-grandsons Samuel and Solomon Boltes; and stepdaughter Cathleen Marie Watson and grandsons Russell and John.

Visitation will be Aug 15th, 6 – 8pm at the Moore Funeral Home, 4216 S. Bowen Road, Arlington, TX

Service will be Aug. 16th at 11:30am at Moore Funeral Home

Graveside service will be Aug 16th at 1:15pm at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX
