Gladys was born May 7, 1919 in Alexandria, Louisiana, the daughter of Petrius and Lillie VanDevelde. She married Frank Teresa, Jr., their union of 27 years, ending at the time of his death. Her marriage and family were most important to her.
Gladys was preceded in death by husbands, Miller Frank Teresa, Jr., John Young, and Jim Paul; her parents; son, Francis Wayne Teresa; brothers, Ferdinand (Beeble) VanDevelde, Archie VanDevelde, Jerry VanDevelde; sisters, Marie VanDevelde and Winnie Lee Daniels.
She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Goodyear of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Charolette Pickle and husband Charles of Arlington, Texas; sister, Mollie Brodnax of Florida; grandchildren, Keith Horne and wife Theresa of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kristie Dorris and husband Tim of Arlington, Texas, Bryan Pickle and wife Penny of Lakewood, Colorado; and 6 great grandchildren.
