Dr. James Patrick Robinson, DDS at 70yo passed suddenly at home on April 5th. He was the loving husband to Bridget Belmont, devoted father to Justin and Matthew and wife Chessie, beloved grandfather to Riley, Claire, and Jonah, and caring brother to special needs sister Michaela. He was preceded in death by brother Jackie and parents Joyce and Pete ( long time owner of Arlington Pete Robinson Insurance Agency). He is survived by Jackie's children, Lucas and Megan, and cousins from Oklahoma and California. He was a 1975 graduate of UTA with double degrees in biology and electrical engineering and of UTSA 1979 with a degree in dental science. He was a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel with 30 years service which included a general dental residency and years of active, national guard, and reserve duty. He was Texas National Guard State Dental officer for a period in charge of Army readiness exams. He was a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, a Dawson scholar, and a Master of Academy of General Dentistry. He was still an active practicing dentist, the proud owner of Cedar Hill Dental Center working with long time employees Jennifer and Denise and worked with the Adult Dental Disability clinic (previously Ford clinic). He will be remembered for his funny, caring ways and quirky antics, and will be missed by many. Please no flowers, instead plant a Texas native tree (no Bradford pears - he hated them) in remembrance of him. Service and viewing will be at Moore Funeral Home - Bowen in Arlington on Tuesday April 18th at 11am followed by internment at DFW National Cemetery at 1:15pm.
