Jason Kenneth Byrd

Jason Kenneth Byrd was born on February 24, 1987 in Arlington, Texas. He passed away on August 4, 2021 in Mansfield, Texas. Jason was born to Kenneth and Nita Byrd and older sister Amanda. Jason was homeschooled and graduated in 2005 in Arlington. Jason met his perfect match, Kelly Jordan, and married her on October 15, 2016. He lived a beautiful life with Kelly and on January 29th, 2021 they were blessed with their son, Jackson Mark.

As a husband and father, Jason was patient, kind, loving, gentle, playful and intentional. Jason could make anyone smile and easily became an instant friend with his caring and considerate spirit. He is a true example of what it’s like to be your brother’s keeper. Jason was always willing to help and offer his special kind of wisdom. Jason enjoyed playing with his many gadgets like his drone, shooting, and playing games with friends. He worked for MBRGFR for 11 years as the plumbing divisional manager in Dallas and he got his real estate license in 2009. Jason loved everyone as Christ loved which was the foundation of his relationships with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Kelly, son Jackson, parents Kenneth and Nita Byrd, sister Amanda (Bryan) Duncan, niece Emilee, in-laws Mark and Trisha Jordan, brother-in-laws Brett (Christi) Jordan and Kyle (Lesley) Jordan, nieces and nephews Ashton, Brayden, Colton, and Daelyn, and grandparents Edith (Alvin) Fuller and Joan (Willis) McDuff.

Jason accepted Christ as his savior when he was 12. He loved Jesus with all of his heart, and because of God’s promises we know we will see him again in heaven!

Pallbearers will be Casey Alexander, Levi Daniels, Troy Friesen, Titus Wright, Kyle Jordan, Brett Jordan, Brayden Jordan and Bryan Duncan.

In lieu of flowers a college fund has been set up for his son, Jackson Byrd. Donations can be made in person, at the service, or please contact the family for further details.
