Martin Lee Patterson

Martin Lee Patterson, 65, a loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2013. He was born December 24, 1947 to Joe T. and Eva Lee Patterson. Martin graduated from Paschal High School in 1966. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Germany. Martin graduated from Texas Wesleyan in 1976. He worked for the Post Office for 29 years. Martin was a member of Tate Springs Baptist Church, a Mason and a Shrine Clown. He is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Lee Patterson.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carla; his son, Justin; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Reuben Kast; two grandchildren, Ethan and Helena; his father, Joe T. Patterson; his brother and sister-in-law, Grady and Helen Patterson; two nieces, Heather Patterson and Mandy Moses; and numerous cousins. The family would like to thank Universal Health Services and Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 4216 S. Bowen Road, in Arlington. Interment will follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Family visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home.
