Pedrito Layson Tomeldan, age 65 of Mansfield, passed away on February 5, 2018. He was born on September 12, 1952 in Binalonan, Philippines to Pedro Tomeldan and Paciencia Layson. Pedrito married Lydia Esguerra and they celebrated 43 years of marriage together before his passing.
In addition to his wife, Lydia, Pedrito is survived by his mother Paciencia; children Kristine Johnson and husband Leroy, Stephanie Platt and husband Julian, Amanda Tomeldan, and Zuri Mahoney and husband Colin; grandchildren Jadah and Jaden Platt, and Lydia Johnson; siblings Vina Denney, Edna Jean-Richard, Freddie Tomeldan, Cesar Tomeldan, and Roy Tomeldan.
Pedrito moved to the United States to be with his wife and family in 1986. Pedrito attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Parish. In his spare time, he enjoyed singing, cooking, smooth jazz, trips to the casino, and road trips, especially on his motorcycle. Pedrito was an elegant and stylish man. Family and friends were Pedrito's pride and joy, and he will be missed greatly by all those who knew him.
