MEMORIAL SERVICE: Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76017.

Bob was born to Fred and Merce Johnson on August 11, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was raised in Arlington and continued to live there throughout his life. Bob attended St. Maria Goretti Elementary School and Nolan High School. During his teen years he enjoyed working for a local veterinarian where his love for all dogs became so apparent. While never having any children of his own, he was the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. He spent the majority of his career in the financial and banking industry, and was admired by his many friends and colleagues. His quiet and private faith was well suited to the solitude and silence of the Carmelite Monastery, where he frequently participated in the celebration of the Mass.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Mercedes Johnson.

SURVIVORS: His father Fred Johnson of Arlington, TX; sister Jane Hervey and husband, Oney of Gainesville, TX; brothers Steve Johnson and wife Bonnie of Hurst, TX; and Bill Johnson and wife Liz of Grand Prairie, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
