Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday at South Arlington Church of Christ.
Robert was born Jan. 18, 1950, in Lawton, Okla., the son of Arthur and Ingeborg Jones. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Okla., and later earned an associate's degree from Brown Trail School of Preaching in Hurst. He relocated to Arlington in 1980 and had been employed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for the past 10 years. He had a great passion and love for the Lord. Robert never met a stranger, and was a friend to all. He shared a love for all those at South Arlington Church of Christ, as well as his family.
Survivors: Wife, Sandra; daughter, Leigh Ann Daugherty and husband, Glen; granddaughters, Holly and Lauren; grandson, Joshua; and mother, Ingeborg Muller and husband, Peter.
