Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Road Chapel. Interment: 11:30 a.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Road Chapel.
Ron retired from the U.S. Marines after giving 22 1/2 years of service to his country and was a Boy Scouts leader for six years. Ron earned his master's in business, was an avid golfer and worked at Trinity Forge in Mansfield.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Rateike.
Survivors: Wife, Sandra Jump; son, Dustin Jump; daughter, Chelsea Jump; father, Ronald L. Jump and stepmother, Sue Jump; and siblings, Daniel, Shirley and Teresa.
