Sandra Kaye Faggins

Sandra Kaye Faggins, age 63, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. Born November 13, 1957 in Shamrock, Texas, Sandra was the fifth of ten children born to Katherine Johnson and Lovie Faggins, Sr.

Sandra had a smile that would light up an entire room. She was very vibrant and very vigorous. She often liked to be challenged. She loved doing piece puzzles, cross-word puzzles, coloring, sewing and decorating. Sandra also liked to take on all types of projects, and she liked to fix things as well. Sandra was the kind of person that would not let any obstacle, task, or problem stop her, or slow her down. She always stayed busy.

Sandra loved spending time with her Grandkids. She was always very playful with them. Sandra was known as Mee-Maw by her Grandkids, but her family and friends called her Ms. Sandra, Ms. Sandy, Sandra, Sandy, Black Sandy.

Sandra is survived by her two kids daughter, Felicia Dodds (husband Eric Dodds), and son Lamont Evans, 6 GRAND-DAUGHTERS- Andrea Evans, Leticia Evans, Jaida Dodds, Layla Dodds, Shar-Kel Dodds, Sha- Konya Dodds; 3 Grand-Sons- Khalil Horton, Adrian Evans, Emmanuel Evans; 2 Great-Grandkids- Addyson Evans, and Ira Anderson; 4 Brothers- Buster(wife Shoney), Ronnie, Lovie Jr., Terry(wife Joy) 3 Sisters- Dora, Jacqueline, Barbara(husband Jewel). She is preceded in death by her parents Katherine Johnson and Lovie Faggins Sr., and her oldest sister Betty Faggins and her youngest brother Gaylon Faggins.

A memorial service for Sandra will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016.
