Tommy Eugene Jewell, age 78 of Arlington, passed away on July 20, 2018. He was born on January 12, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Eugene Jewell and Florine Jewell. Tommy married Mildred Coyle and they celebrated 57 years of marriage before her passing in 2015.
Tommy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After his service, Tommy spent many years as an engineer and draftsman, designing mobile homes and mastering Auto-CAD. He had a solid work ethic and a wonderful sense of humor. Tommy was a devout Christian and a member of Bethel Assembly of God.
Tommy is survived by his children Cliff Jewell and wife Ann, Tammy Files and husband Jim, and son Thomas Jewell; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister Marie Coyle. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sister Judy, and brother Art.
Funeral services will be 11:30am on Thursday, July 27 at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of service. Interment will follow at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
