Adeline "Adie" Daum Caffo

On Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Arlington VA surrounded by family. Born in Germany and raised with nine sisters and one brother. Adie is survived by her sisters; Hedwig Newitsch, Hilde Neuhof, and Lydia Rogowski; sister-in-law Angela; nephews, John and Michael Caffo; and nieces Mary Fowler and Patty Coleman. Also surviving are her great-nephews; John-Robert, Zachary, Nicholas; and great-nieces Sofia, Ashley, and Amanda.
Adie was a member of the Sons of Italy, and the Catholic Young Adult Club (CYAC), over 40-year member of St. Ann Catholic Church, a member of the Elks Club. She worked at Giant Food for over 30 years. Adie loved life and her passions, including; bowling, volunteering at Arlington Hospital, line dancing, and of course baking her famous chocolate chip cookies.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1 from 2PM to 4PM and 5PM to 7PM at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 17 at 11AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Arlington. Burial will be immediately following at Columbia Gardens Cemetery.
