Charles F. Sullivan, Jr. of Arlington, Virginia, passed peacefully at home on March 13, 2026. He was born November 28, 1937, in Washington, DC, at the old Garfield Hospital (Washington Hospital Center) to Charles F. and Evelyn R. Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sally; his brother William (Suzette), sister-in-law Karen Warren, and many nieces, nephews, and their children. Mr. Sullivan worked for over 30 years as a Systems Engineer and as a consultant for the U.S. Navy.
A long-time parishioner of St. Charles Catholic Church, he was very active member of the Knights of Columbus; the International Order of Alhambra for 45 years; and served as Treasurer, Vice Grand and Grand Commander of Porto 104 IOA. He dedicated himself to supporting, promoting, and raising funds for the inclusive education for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the schools of the Diocese of Arlington.
A memorial Mass at St. Charles Catholic Church, followed by inurnment at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, will be scheduled at a later date.
