Dorothy Mae Stacy

Dottye was loved and cherished by her family and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul of 47 years, her parents Charles and Bertha Pitts, sisters Betty and June and brother Bill. She is survived by her devoted sons Eliot (Debbie) of Haymarket, VA; Robert of Arlington, VA; and John of Hockessin, Delaware, along with three grandchildren Eliot Paul (Jourdan), Sabrina, and John (Jheymi) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Dottye’s accomplishments were numerous. She lived in a beautiful home where she raised her three sons as well as working for the Department of Defense for over 20 years. She was a member of the garden club and antique club. She was an accomplished bridge player and an active member of St. Alban’s Church in Annandale for over 60 years. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with her sons.

A church service will be held on Tuesday, 25 July at 10:00am at St. Alban’s Church at 6800 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003. A private burial service will be held in West Yarmouth, Ma.
