Of Arlington Virginia died on Thursday June 27, 2013. Nora was born in Latvia and immigrated to the US in 1950. She is survived by her brother Tony Matisans and his wife Shirl; niece Linda Linden and her husband Bill; nephew Steven Matisans and his wife Jennifer; great-niece Hannah Grace Linden, and great-nephews Allan and Mason Matisans, and Jacob Andrew Linden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jezups and Vincentine Matisans, her brothers Donald and John, and her great-nephew Steven. Friends may call at Murphy Funeral Home of Arlington, 4510 Wilson Blvd, from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday July 2. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo, 3304 N. Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201 at 1:00 pm on Wednesday July 3. Interment at Fairfax Memorial Park.
